Happy Thanksgiving

The weekend ahead is sure to be a busy, but fun one. There will be lots of family, food, hunting, and fun. Oh and work! Working retail really stinks sometimes, but at least Kerr's is only open normal business hours; no 5 AM shopping there!

The house is almost clean. The food that can be prepared ahead is almost complete, and it is nice to have a few hours to relax. Terry and Aunt Hazel are here already, but they hardly count as guests since they have their own place here now. The first of the other guests should be here around dinner time. There should be a total of 14 for turkey on Thursday, and we will have some others join over the weekend. We have family coming in from NY, TN, and OH. Not everyone will be here at the same time though so the houses shouldn't be too packed. We'll probably have to break out the air mattress Saturday night. It is pretty comfortable though. It's no memory foam mattress, but it sure beats the floor.

The weather is unseasonably warm, it is 74 right now! It is supposed to cool off tomorrow though. I hope. It makes for better hunting and butchering! We're hoping to have fresh steaks to serve.

Hope you have a relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving!
