Thursday Thirteen #4

I like Harry Connick Jr. I always have. I first heard him when I was in high school. I was in Florida on a missions trip after hurricane Andrew cleaning up after the mess. I heard Red Light Blue Light and it was all over after that. Here are my reasons why: I like his arrangements. He is versatile. He can sing, play piano, arrange, and conduct. I don't even know the guy. He's been playing piano since he was at least 9ish. He can act a little bit. Hope Floats, Memphis Belle, Copy Cat, Will and Grace just to name a few, and a new one coming out called p.s. I love you.

Here's is a list of my favorite songs. from what I heard so far...song then album it is from
  1. You didn't Know Me When -Red light Blue Light
  2. Just Kiss Me- Red light Blue Light
  3. You Didn't know Me When-Red light Blue Light
  4. What Are You Doing new Years Eve?- When My Heart Finds Christmas
  5. Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer- When My Heart Finds Christmas
  6. Here comes the Big Parade- She ( The whole album is all funk, nice.)
  7. Come By Me- Come By Me
  8. Cry Me A River-Come By Me
  9. Working In A Coal Mine- Oh My Nola
  10. Yes We Can- Oh My Nola
  11. Winter Wonderland -I don't know what album it is from, but you can listen and download it here
  12. It Had To Be You- When Harry Met Sally
  13. Luscious-Chanson du Vieux Carré (His Latest Album)

I've tried. I have! But Harry and I are not fated to be musical friends.

Regardless, I still acknowledge talent where it's due, and Harry's a talent.

Happy TT!

My Thursday Thirteen is up too! :)

I love listening to him singing the standards... much better than Michael Bublé for me.

Happy New Year!

You created an interesting T-13 today. We must have been on similar wave-lengths because I did mine on Straight No Chaser performances. Thanks for sharing.
Hugs and blessings,
