Still out of luck

No computer yet. boring reading here. I will post everyday that our computer is still in the shop until it gets back to its home. I am getting frustrated.

Filet Mignon

The computer's still out, I hope is is fixed soon. they said they are having trouble ghosting the hardrive, what ever that means.


I did get a deer on friday at 9:15 am. It was a spike buck. I will have pics soons ( Jake email them to me will ya?) I got approx 60 lbs of meat from it and we enjoyed filets on Sat night.Enough said. It really doesn't get any better than that.


I will post more later when I get my computer back.

Still in the shop

The computer is still being worked on. I hope it doesn't take that much longer. Gun Season started today. I went out for only a few hours. I borrowed a .12 gauge from a friend. I hope I get one soon!

A day late

Kellen had gone public

OK My oldest son has been posting on his blog for awhile now. Steph and I thought it might be appropriate to keep it private. but we have found this homeschooling thing where kid publish their blogs and what not so we thought he could have a go with it. So here it is enjoy. I am sure he is excited that many more people will be reading him.. He is 8. He sometimes doesn't give you any backround to what or why he is writing about. It is usually about school or what is happening on the far. but he is getting better.

Hi Ho the merry o the hunting we will go.

Bow season started Last weekend sometime. I have been out a lot all because of my wife's urge for free meat. I have had some nice really close encounters, but no luck yet. I will get something sometime. I Joke that I am going to shoot at anything that moves, but I have a friend that does when he goes out. Yesterday Jake and Terry came down and when out basically the whole day. It is fun, but I didn't see anything the entire day. So I tell you it is a deer metropolis out here.

It always comes to this, I sit down to write and tell you the fine adventures of me and my family and I can't think of jack to write about. I know there was more than this to write about, but it isn't coming to me right now. oh well. It seems like it hasn't slowed down since September.

Next post I might have a picture of me and my deer that I shoot later on...
