Chinese buffet

Last night Steph gave in and we had to go shopping only for groceries mind you, but still had to go to the big Wal box. We were out with only 3 of 4 and 4 of 4 (Nolan and Vivian), So we went to the Chinese place by the mall for dinner. It is nicer then the one in Milton's chinese buffet but double the price. We ate there for 21.00 plus tip. Where that would have fed all 6 of us in Milton. The big difference between the two is the for variety. The one by the mall has a better selection, and more in general. There is a succi bar also. But the big reason I bring this up is that just 5 years ago, you know you could go get Chinese and have the most selection of vegetables out there. A vegetarian would be in heaven. However, that is not the case now. We were hard pressed to find any other vegetables than the standard green beans and broccoli, peppers and onions with the steak and chicken. Maybe I have selective memory, but I thought that there were a plethora of fine vegetables when eating the Chinese food.

The other thing I observed was the Mexicans eating at the corner booth. While they were walking around getting their plates of fine Chinese food, They were talking so loud (in Spanish) it was funny. It was making all the folks from West Virginia look up from their plates. It was as if they were talking loud just because they new no one could underdstand them. I could almost hear the thoughts of everyone thinking "Fella, you best shut the hell up, before I put boots to ya" or something. I just thought that was interesting.

We had take out a few nights ago, and they had plenty of veggie dinners to choose from. It might be a demand and supply thing.
