Do I have a job Or Not?

That is the question for now I guess. My office closed as of yesterday even though there were customers coming in I think we had 4 or 5. We just gave away the reeds they wanted to buy. Anyway they ( my bosses) want to have salesmen down here with out the overhead of the building and employees. I am now working out of Lancaster, Ohio. Before you go start complaining that's not fair, what about the employees and what ever, let me tell you that I think it will work. Another company has started doing it already. The teachers have not really given any loyalty to my Company letting other vendors in after 5 years of weekly service during the school year. So after losing money for the last 2 years It think it was the right move. All this said, It work out that it only takes one salesman to do the routes down here not 2. So I would be the odd man out. I think that brings every one up to date as of Today Sunday Morning. I have a meeting with the owner Thursday.

On a side note, our business has acquired a number of horns that are rental returns from a similar business that went bankrupt in Texas I have to write up a proposal telling the big guys what it will take to sell them on the Internet, and how much it will cost them, etc. That will keep me employed if it comes down to that.
So now I am listing things on eBay that the electronics tech gave to me because he decided to retire. Things like old 45 players, Tube tester, old lunchbox radios and Oscilloscopes and other electronic testing equip. Most of the things he bought to fix up and sell again, but he never got to it.

Well, I am sorry to hear about your limbo. It sounds like you have a good attitude about it. I am in a similar (not sure where my job is going) situation. I know that as much as it sucks I've never had a problem finding a job and I am confident I'll find something else. In the mean time we'll say a prayer for you.
