Another reason not to watch TV

Stephanie may post about this as well, but I will post my 2 cent cents.

We were watching survivor last night with the kids Kellen and Lydia Stayed up while Nolan and Vivian fell asleep in their beds... and during the hour they had a commercial for 2 1/2 men (I think I wasn't paying attention until the end) and the commercial showed this stripper ripping off her shirt while she was sitting on top of a guy. I almost ripped the TV out of its socket. It wasn't even
9 o' clock yet. I could understand them running it at 10 o ' clock. I emailed a complaint on the web site today. I am not by all means a prude, but I don't want to be answering questions that my 10 and 6 year old have. I will not watch CBS anymore. Ok, I might watch on Sundays at 8pm.(Amazing Race) but no more CSI... I they were getting old anyway.

I tried to find the commercial but I couldn't, and  I didn't think you needed any visuals.

It is raining, so I don't think I am going hunting tomorrow morning. I twittered yesterday that the Browns would win. I was close... I am glad I didn't watch it, again, I don't even know if I could have watched it on TV last night anyway, I was too busy watching the stripper...

No we can't even watch an 8:00 show with kids. Ridiculous. Oh but the quote was the best honey. The stripper was dressed as a cop, and as she rips open her shirt leaving her only in a lacy bra she says, "I'm going to put you under a breast."

This I expect in the later hours, not in the 8:00 hour!

It seems like there are a lot more expletives on tv as well as the soft porn.

I know what you mean. We can't even watch some cable shows because of the stooopid "male enhancement" commercials. We will watch them if we prerecord them tho, that way we can speed past them.

We watched CSI this week and it even made me a little uncomfortable. It seems like the TV people just keep pushing the envelop and I agree it is rude. Another show that I really like has had this crazy "explicit" story line and it is on at 9 P.M. Yes it is later than 8 and kids SHOULD be in bed but honestly most kids aren't. I heard they received a bunch of complaints and are going to tame it down a bit. So, maybe your email to them will make a difference.

Hey! What's wrong with stippers? I'm actually getting good at it! JK
My boys usually stick to cartoons which was fine till I caught Jarrett watching Family Guy one night! I know that they don't get most of it but it's better them not be exposed to it at all.

We tivo everything and jump through the commercials, otherwise, we'd never get to watch anything.
