This family loves popcorn. One of our favorite snacks is popcorn. For awhile last year Sundays nights were spent watching Amazing Race with a dinner of popcorn and apple crisp made from the apples in the pasture. Guess we won't be doing that this year, the apples didn't produce, and there seems to be no sign of another Amazing Race episode. We still often enjoy popcorn Sunday evenings though.
I remember as a kid there was a grocery store that had popcorn machines at the entrance. As you entered the store you could grab a bag of popcorn to munch on as you shopped. That store isn't even open anymore. They shut the doors about a year ago. I wonder if any stores do that anymore? I imagine they had to sweep up a lot of popcorn, but it sure would keep the kids occupied.

I too am a fan of popcorn, my favorite snack. I used to have this killer caramel corn recipe in college that I made a couple times but lost it. Someday I'll be able to duplicate it . . . someday.
I know exactly which store you're talking about. Its too bad they closed, but you know which other huge chain store we have to blame for that.
I am not a fan of popcorn. I can handle microwave about once every two years or so, but I used to clean Movies 10 and I cannot stand popcorn made in machines. Much like I don't care for root beer much after working at the rootbeer stand.
Hey what store are you talking about?
Hawkins!
Oh, I don't think mom and dad shopped at Hawkins much.
